Budgetra Privacy Policy
Budgetra is a personal finance app for tracking income, expenses, wallets, savings goals, shared wallets, currency conversion, and simple financial insights. This Privacy Policy explains what information Budgetra collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Budgetra, the app may process the following information:
- Wallet names, balances, currencies, transactions, categories, and savings goals that you enter in the app.
- Shared wallet invite data, participant device identifiers, and synchronized wallet content when you use shared wallets.
- Purchase and subscription information used to manage Budgetra Plus access.
- Basic technical information needed to operate sync, subscriptions, restore purchases, notifications, and app support.
Local Data
Budgetra stores your personal wallet data on your device. If you do not use shared wallet sync, your wallet content is intended to remain local to your device, except for data processed by Apple or RevenueCat for purchases and subscriptions.
Shared Wallet Sync
If you create or join a shared wallet, Budgetra sends the shared wallet's name, currency, balance, transactions, goals, participant information, and update timestamps to Budgetra's sync server so that invited participants can see and update the same wallet.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Budgetra uses Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat to process, verify, and manage Budgetra Plus subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, app user identifiers, country or region, and related technical information needed for entitlement management, fraud prevention, and purchase restoration.
Currency Conversion
Budgetra may request exchange-rate data from a third-party exchange-rate API. These requests are used only to convert displayed amounts between currencies.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, Budgetra uses local iOS notifications to remind you to add income and expenses. You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide wallet, transaction, analytics, savings goal, and shared wallet features.
- Synchronize shared wallets between invited participants.
- Process subscriptions, restore purchases, and unlock Budgetra Plus features.
- Maintain app reliability, security, and support.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers that help operate Budgetra, including Apple for App Store purchases, RevenueCat for subscription management, the Budgetra sync server for shared wallets, and exchange-rate providers for currency conversion.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local wallet data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Shared wallet data may remain on Budgetra's sync server while the shared wallet is active. You can request deletion of server-side shared wallet data by contacting us.
Your Choices
- You can delete transactions, goals, and wallets inside the app.
- You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of server-side data by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
Budgetra is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Users
If you use Budgetra outside your country of residence, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above.
